Unlike the other [[Scorn]] that died to the Guardian however, Fikrul is able to resurrect himself thanks to the [[Dark Ether]] within. Recognizing his resurrecting abilities similar to that of a [[Guardian]], the [[Vanguard]] assigned multiple [[Strike]] teams to continuously put him down as to suppress the Fanatic, while the [[Praxic Order]] reached out to [[Cryptarch]]s and [[Gensym Scribes]] for ways to make his destruction permanent. | Unlike the other [[Scorn]] that died to the Guardian however, Fikrul is able to resurrect himself thanks to the [[Dark Ether]] within. ===Nightmare Legacy===
Following over a year since the Scorn's fall, whether Fikrul has been permanently killed or not, the Guardian encounters a Darkness-created phantom, a [[Nightmare]], that bears the Fanatic's form as the Guardian attempts to enter the [[Pyramid]] structure beneath the Moon's surface. Though their initial battle had the Guardian forced to retreat, being nearly overwhelmed by Nightmares of [[Crota]] and [[Dominus Ghaul]] that joined the Nightmare of Fikrul, the Guardian returns after gaining knowledge and armor needed to combat the Nightmares. After entering the Pyramid, the Guardian battles with the Darkness-fueled image of Fikrul but the Nightmare of one of the Guardians more personal foes is defeated, the Guardian overcoming the Darkness's attempts at tormenting them.
