the title of the article is spelled incorrectly, but Im not sure how to change it. I fixed the ones in the main article though. -sunkisttuna Damnit I know :( sorry. I should've looked up in word BEFORE I saved it!!! I sent a message to porple, maybe he knows how to fix it. fukfukfuk CraZboy557 (talk) 20:20, 17 February 2013 (EST) Yay! He fixed it! Now what to do about that SHITTON of pictures I misspelled it on. Oh well, I suppose those aren't THAT big a problem. CraZboy557 (talk) 20:21, 17 February 2013 (EST)
So are we all in agreement on the classes of those guardians in that picture in the gallery? Cause I kinda figured if we weren't certain then maybe we should take down the caption. CraZboy557 (talk) 22:15, 17 February 2013 (EST)
I've been considering this for awhile, but I wanted to run it by other members of the community first. I was thinking of creating an article for the actual player character, something along the lines of "the Guardian" or "Guardian (character)." I bring this up because I feel it would help in writing lore-based entries, since the story of Destiny is more or less structured around a single Guardian driving the story forward. As of House of Wolves, given Petra's ruminations, we can conclude that the overall story is following a set narrative, since she mentions the vanilla game, then how they took out Crota, and now they're coming to the Reef. Basically it's a Dragonborn/Lone Wanderer-type article - something to tie into and provide context for, but keeping the language free of references to gender or species. IMO, it would help in articles to say that "X helped the Guardian" rather than "X helps the player," given that the site otherwise conforms to in-universe writing for lore articles.
- Now that it's been confirmed our player Guardian is a character unto themselves, I think this is an idea worth pursuing. Observance (talk) 13:23, 19 May 2017 (EDT)
