Echo of Riis Identity?[edit]
Do we know for certain that the memory of the Echo is specifially an individual Eliksni singer.
The sources that can lead into that direction I see are:
- Variks: "Variks does not recognize the singer. The Echo… It is the Echo that sings to us"
- Echo: "If the Echo reached out to you, actually communicated, using that song from Old Riis"
Interestingly, the Spider says this in Renegades:
- Spider: "Sentient planets abound. But how to own one, hmm? The Echo of Riis is still out there, somewhere."
Could it be the planet itself--a sort of gaiaform? Uncertain. I don't think its enough to prove the identity of the Echo either way.
I bring this up because, in my opinion, the line in the article "It was created specifically from the memories of an unnamed Eliksni singer of Riis" is too definitive at the time.

- I just think that one line: "It was created specifically from the memories of an unnamed Eliksni singer of Riis" should be changed to make it clear its speculation; such as moving it to a trivia section where we list possible identities (Unnamed Singer, Checlis, Irrha, the planet Riis itself). I just don't want, heaven forbid, some future writer reads it as fact when the intention of a previous writer was something different. - I think I see what you're on about. You raise a very good point. I'll make the necessary changes. I also had checked the sources linked and it doesn't seem to point to anything concrete other than it's a song sung around the time of the Whirlwind. --
