Taken versions of enemies have radically different behaviors from their standard counterparts, including new abilities designed to counter Guardian abilities. As the Guardian battled through the Dire Taken, Eris and the Drifter made it to the Dreadnaught, finding it different than it once was, infested and decaying from Taken energies, leading Eris to theorize that a new will was in command of the Taken. Unfortunately, the pair found themselves swarmed by Dire Taken in the Hall of Souls, which they managed to fend off before finding themselves ambushed by Keit'Eir, now dubbed '''The Resonant Knife, First of the Reshaped''', who would overpower Eris and ultimately impale her. The Resonant Knife took its leave, dragging Eris's body to the Dreadnaught's depths with Drifter giving chase.
