Terrabase Charon is to the southern edge of The Changed Land. During the Red War, the Red Legion used the place as a base while mining the Traveler's energy to fulfil Ghaul's plan. However, they quickly abandoned the base after their activity attached the attention of the Taken. It was occupied by both the Dust Giants and Sand Eaters but had consolidated into the Red Legion.
