The Taken Raider is a type of Taken Scorn.

Gameplay

Fundamentally, the Taken Raider has few changes in terms of movement and weaponry, as they are still highly agile and use their weapons at range; their Scorn Crossbow doesn't drastically change, while the Scorn Rifle's bolts travel faster, but lose their tracking ability. However, as part of their Taken change, instead of entering a smoke dash when threatened, they will reach down and rip out from the earth a cloud of darkness that conceals them and nearby allies, all the while also providing themselves with an overshield and increased melee damage. Anyone in proximity to this ability will be afflicted with the Entropic Haze debuff, which slightly damages players inside it and also removes their abilities, but lose nothing but sight if they enter an already active cloud.
