The Discordant Refraction is a Dread artifact wielded by Evocators.
Overview[edit]
Shaped like a prism, the Discordant Refraction can fire bolts of Arc energy. These bolts are launched at a rapid pace and minimally jolt struck targets. In left ignored, these can quickly strip a Guardian of their shield and leave them exposed to enemy fire. It can also create an Arc storm, sending bolts of Arc Energy that can partially track enemies, similar to what the Tormentor can do.
Additionally, they can also be used as a melee weapon, splitting into several pieces bound by an Arc tether in the center and striking at opponents that get too close like a whip.

- The Arc energy seen in the Discordant Prism is orange instead of blue.
