Data-Line Protector Hydras are powerful Vex Hydras.

Gameplay

Data-Line Protector Hydras have an immunity shield, making it immune to damage. To break the shield, players must kill Glowing Minotaurs to get a Cranium they drop and use the weapon to destroy its shield. When its shield is destroyed, it will begin to summon damaged Vex reinforcements to assist it. Upon losing a third of its health, the Hydra will use Imminent Detain to trap you in a detainment shield which players must shoot to break free. Once the Data-Line Protector Hydra is slain, the encounter is complete.
