An Ultra is the most superior type of enemy in Destiny due to their high damage and health values. They can be identified by their large sizes and they way their health bar is displayed; it is shown by a giant yellow bar with a skull next to it, and there is a name above it.
Gameplay
Ultras serve as bosses and are therefore meant to pose a challenge to Guardians. Any Ultra will have the following abilities:
- Area-of-Effect Melee Attack
- Summon Reinforcements
- Rapid Movement
- Heavy Ranged Attack (from their equipped weapon)
- Immunity to Flashbang and Suppression Grenades
