Dominus?

Is there actually a source somewhere for Calus being called "Dominus Calus"? After reading the Cabal Booklet I've begun to doubt that Calus used the title, since Calus only refers to himself as Emperor and uses Dominus to refer to Ghaul. Considering we only caught a robot form, could Emperor Calus still be alive???
