Michael Salvatori

Michael Salvatori is a music composer of Destiny, along with Martin O'Donnell and Paul McCartney. A long-time friend and musical collaborator of O'Donnell, Salvatori has worked on the musical scores for numerous Bungie projects such as Oni and the Halo series. In spite of his many compositions for Bungie, he did not become an official employee of the company until 2011. He would eventually be let go during the Bungie layoffs on the 30th of October, 2023.[1] Around 100 employees were affected by company-wide staff cutbacks. The decision was cited to be Destiny 2's perceived underperformance. [2]
