War of Attrition is the third expansion for Destiny and was one of the three DLCs announced in the Destiny Expansion Pass.

The story centers around the mysterious, sudden and violent arrival of the Cabal of the Bone Crusher Legion, an elite reserve force deployed for offense and tactical research. Now reclaiming most of the martian surface for themselves, Zavala would call any available Guardian to coordinate operations against the skilled Legion, to sabotage any of their operations and assassinate their ruthless leadership.
