Green is the Ghost of Seja. Seja gave him the name Green after the colour of his eye and his shell.
Green searched all over the system since the Collapse, wondering when he would finally find the right Guardian that he was made to resurrect. It was only about ten years before the Taken War when he found Seja, and they stayed close together ever since. Green deeply cares about Seja and wants what is best for her, though he doesn't agree with a lot of her decisions, such as when she took up work for The Spider instead of going to the Vanguard first.
