Perks

  • Lightweight Frame: Fast movement and quick strikes. Use to launch a dash attack.

Intrinsic Perk: Empty Moment - Press [R2] to preform a dash attack that turns you invisible to all enemies at the start of the attack and then a sudden slash at the end of the dash.

Columnn 1: Blade - Jagged Edge - Increased damage at the cost of sword ammo.

Columnn 2: Guard - Enduring Guard - Sword Guard has maximized efficiency and high endurance, but low resistance.

Column 3: Trait - Whirlwind Blade - Consecutive rapid sword strikes increase this weapon's damage output.

Column 4: Trait - Bladeless Blade - After the slash at the end of Empty Moment, multiple separate slashes will follow up and attack anyone within a 10m distance.

Exotic Catalyst

  • Chronos's World: Enemies affected by Empty Moment and Bladeless Blade will be frozen and unable to move for a duration between 5-10 seconds. Enemies killed by either perk create Chronological Zones that stop all enemies for 10 seconds in a 5m radius. (Chronological Zones have a lessened effect on enemies that have a Chrono elemental basis, around 2 seconds instead of 10)

Trivia

  • This is the first dual-element exotic weapon in Destiny 2.
  • Both the Empty Moment and Bladeless Blade perks are based on the character Jin from the Action RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2
  • Chrono's Time Stop effect is based on the infamous stand "The World" from the well-renowned show JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. This also includes the reduced effects of time stop against anyone using the Chrono element.
