The Destiny Beta will be a public Destiny beta for those who pre-order the game. To join it, the player will have to use a code giving access to the beta. The codes will be emailed at a later date to those who have pre-ordered the game from select retailers.[1] The beta will begin in July 2014,[2] exclusively on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms, with other platforms getting access soon after.[3][4][5]Before the beta, however, there was a Public Destiny Alpha Testing, it ran through for three days and only selected players that registered for alpha testing were able to play it.[6]
