At an unknown point in time, Shiro would go on a long recon mission outside of Sol. Long after the unmaking of the Witness, the events concerning the Echoes, the death of III of the Nine, and the destruction of Nightfall Station, Shiro flew back to Earth, his jumpship on a collision course with the Last City. He was shot out of the sky by Aunor Mahal, to the chagrin of her Ghost Bahaghari, and recovered from the wreckage by her and Niik. After reviving, he explains that Suzumi was almost taken by something, and urges Aunor to tell the Guardian that It’s waiting at the Shard of the Traveler.
