| 2 December || Imperium || A few months have passed since III's death. Earth begins to suffer from changes in its chemical compositions in addition to the health and environmental anomalies that already begun. To avoid hysteria, the Vanguard and the Praxic Order have decided to redact the information regarding the prophecy stated by III before its death: "Death ensures extinction. To survive, you must bind the Nine." Unfortunately, the denizens of the Last City experience the effects of its death anyways. Meanwhile, Drifter assembles a crew to take action on the prophecy. He selects Eido, Eris, Lodi, Aunor Mahal, the Guardian, and his Ghost, Blue. The crew were able to steal a Barant Imperium asset before the Zagan Gloriosus catches up to them and fires a tractor beam on the Derelict. Afterwards, the Barant Imperium boards the vessel where its leaders, Premier Lume and Dredgen Bael were revealed and they take the Drifter to the command carrier. The Guardian boards the carrier and fights their way through Barant Imperium forces. On their way to rescue Drifter, Dredgen Bael speaks to the Guardian before IV momentarily possesses him and views the Guardian with contempt. After returning the Drifter to the Derelict, Aunor was able to disable the tractor beam holding it in place while the Guardian takes down some Imperium Behemoths. Before leaving, Aunor is forced to briefly fight Dredgen Bael using the Praxic Blade with neither of them emerging victorious. | | 2 December || Imperium || A few months have passed since III's death. The Guardian is forced to become a renegade and meet up with Drifter at the Tharsis Outpost on Mars. The Tharsis Outpost is a location where the syndicates congregate at, and the syndicates are the Pikers, an atheist Eliksni community, the Totality Division, a platoon of Barant Imperium forces led by Enforcer Rao, and Tharsis Reformation, a new Vex collective that formed as a result of Maya's actions on Kepler. Drifter reveals 2 things to them before they set off to recover parts to repair Blue: the Barant Imperium is tied to the Nine and the asset that the crew stole was the Encrypted Data Disk. Aunor and the Spider then tell the Guardian that they must venture into the Lawless Frontier to recover parts for Blue. They do so and Blue was finally able to speak. Blue reveals that the data contained information for a superweapon called Nightfall Station. | ||

| || Fearsome Retainer || The Guardian must gain the trust of the syndicates by completing tasks. During that time, Drifter began making plans to go AWOL while Eris attempts to open a line of communication with the Nine without Lodi. Eris's attempts end in failure upon the Guardian completing their first task and making their way to get to the second task, which involves sabotaging Imperium tech infused with dark matter. It is completed, and then Drifter decides to AWOL before the Guardian gets to the last task for the Pikers. This task involves retrieving the Splicer Shank from Spider’s barge. After retrieving the Shank and learning that Nightfall Station is deployed in Mars's orbit, the Barant Imperium attacks and then destroys the barge. | | || Fearsome Retainer || The Guardian must gain the trust of the syndicates by completing tasks.
