Editing The Sunken Pyramid

'''The Sunken Pyramid''' is a [[Pyramid]] of the [[Black Fleet]] formerly commanded by [[Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness]]<ref>'''Bungie (2022/2/22)''', ''[[Destiny 2]]: [[The Witch Queen]] - [[Armor|Armor Lore]]: [[Resonant Fury Suit (Warlock)]]''</ref>. It was moved to [[Savathûn's Throne World]] by Rhulk at the request of the [[Witness]], so that Rhulk could keep watch over the Witch Queen and provide assistance in the form of an inexhaustible supply of [[Worm]] larvae. Upon Savathûn's rebirth in the Light, the Pyramid was neutralized and sank into the swamp below, with a Light curse subsequently placed upon it to trap Rhulk inside. It is the setting of the [[Vow of the Disciple]] raid.

On the inside of the Pyramid however, it is much more open unlike its [[The Lunar Pyramid|Lunar]] counterpart but similar to its [[The Europan Pyramid|Europan]] counterpart, possessing strange statues carved out of the same material as the ship along with massive structures in semblance of a city. Some of the statues appear like strange humanoid creatures and even horses.  

The Pyramid also acts as a sort of library, cataloguing Rhulk's entire backstory through the use of murals. Some of these murals appear as depictions of [[Hive]], the Witness, the [[Guardian]]s and even [[The Traveler|the Traveler]]. Some of the more gruesome parts of this collection would be a rib of the [[Fundament]] [[Leviathan (Fundament)|Leviathan]] placed in one of its open rooms. Another gruesome addition would be the calcified and dissected [[Worm]] larvae seen throughout the ship, frozen in calcified constructs, dissected and separated in various segments. Some of these worms can also be seen fused into calcified Scorn. All of this makes the Pyramid's interior disturbingly resemble a twisted sort of art gallery or natural history museum.

Most disturbing of all, the presence of [[The Caretaker|the Caretaker]] aboard the pyramid during the events of the Vow of the Disciple Raid, which is widely believed to have been successfully implanted with a Worm larva and to have survived this, indicates that Rhulk was conducting horrific experiments involving attempts to implant various Scorn soldiers with Worm larvae prior to his death. It is therefore apparent that the Scorn found in the calcified blocks throughout the pyramid with the Worm larvae fused to them are failed attempts at creating something akin to the Caretaker, with the Caretaker likely being the sole known survivor of these experiments.  Despite having survived the experiments that presumably created it, it is not known if the Caretaker was the end result that Rhulk had in mind when he began his experiments, or if it may have been a defective or failed product that Rhulk found particularly powerful or useful.
