He is eventually sucked into nothingness, leaving his weapon on the floor. More ruptures appear, scattered throughout the area.''

An [[Echo of Oryx]] floats over the disfigured victims, surveying the scene. All of them kneel to the floor in reverence. The Echo sneers down at the newly Taken life forms. A [[Taken Psion]] demonstrates its ability by splitting into two copies of itself, still kneeling. A Taken Centurion lowers its head. Satisfied, the Echo disappears with a screech.''
