==Gameplay==
Ksimikaa will appear once the Heroic version of the Ether Ritual public event has been triggered. This can be done in any of the three main areas of the Throne World: the [[Quagmire]], the [[Miasma]], and the [[Florescent Canal]]. In order to initiate the Heroic Event, any participating players must shoot down the [[Dark Ether]] clouds that appear after a [[Dredge Chieftain]] has been killed, before they reach the [[Ether Harvester]] at the center of the ritual site. If you are successful in taking out a large amount of these orbs during the three times they appear, the Heroic version of the event will begin, and Ksimikaa will spawn with several Scorn reinforcements at their back.

The boss wields a [[Scorn Cannon]] into battle, firing long-ranged, [[Solar]] munitions that explode on impact. As an Arc Chieftain, they can also deploy Ether-bind totems to restrain their enemies, making them easier to be overwhelmed by them and their forces. If a player gets within a close enough distance, they will send them flying backwards and cause significant damage by stomping down on the ground, unleashing a burning pool of fire around. Ksimikaa is protected by an Arc [[Absorption Shield]] for increased defense. However, [[Guardian]]s who are using a weapon or [[Subclass]] of the same archetype can quickly take it down and detonate the shield, damaging the boss and any enemies that are within range. If you are successful in eliminating the Chieftain, the Heroic Event will be complete and the chest will spawn, granting rewards to anyone who took part.

==Trivia==
*Although Ksimikaa uses an ordinary Arc Absorption Shield, it is unique in that it is different in color, being white/extremely pale blue instead of the usual brighter blue that is asscociated with its element.
