==Strategies==
The map possesses a circular design, which funnels players into confrontations at the map's center. The map also has contrasting points of engagement, boasting long stretches of area with little cover prime for snipers, and tight enclosed spaces with plenty of corners suitable for setting traps. Both of the map's Heavy Ammo spawns are divided on opposite sides of the area, one near the open space and the other near the enclosed area, offering options for either play strategy. *The site is possibly named after the [[Wikipedia: Icarus|figure of the same name]] from Greek mythology who lost his life due to flying too close to the sun, as a reference to the place's solar collecting function.
*The Grimoire card for Icarus lists two different locations for the area (the title lists the Laguid Seas while the card description lists the Caloris Basin), but this is likely an error.
