Sentinels of the Gulf are Vex Cyclopses that are encountered in the Convalescence encounter, where they attempt to stop the bridging of the chasm within the Echoing Gulf.
Gameplay[edit]
Upon connecting 2 Vex relays with one another, three of these Elite Cyclops units will spawn atop freshly formed platforms over the chasm. Mechanically unremarkable and insignificant, the roles of these units are mainly to hose down Guardians with devastating Void fire and to prevent more linking of other Relays to keep the chasm from being formed and intruded upon by Guardians.
