Ragnarok is a prophesied event of Hive origin known to the Nine as "the end of finality." It is unknown if the event is common knowledge amongst the Hive's many broods.
History[edit]
The first mention of "Ragnarok" dates back to the Hive-Ecumene war from Hive philosopher Al-Rok. Al-Rok believed that the Hive became the embodiment of "the end" when they took in their worms from the worm gods, meaning if they were exterminated, the concept of ending and death would be no more. As the Hive were almost brought to extinction, Al-Rok brought this idea to light amongst the remaining fighters, where he was ostracized and murdered by his fellow Hive.
