The Crystalline Demolitionist is a Taken Captain seen as the final obstacle of the Neutrino Crystals encounter of the Obsidian Acropolis, where they make one last ditch effort to kill the Guardians with Taken power.
Gameplay[edit]
Once enough Crystals have been destroyed, the Crystalline Demolitionist will appear, alongside 6 of their Crystals in a last ditch effort to kill the Guardians. While they will behave like any other Ultra variant of a Taken Captain, utilizing Darkness Bolts to damage and disorient their opponents, firing off Arc charged bolts from their Taken Shrapnel Launcher to blast apart their opponents, and unleashing a devastating Ultra Smash should someone be foolish enough to close the gap, they will drop a pool of Destabilizing Neutrinos necessary for pitching in on the elimination of the last hexad of Neutrino Crystals and gain the last bit of points needed to complete the encounter.
