Attendants of Whispers are Taken Wizards encountered in the Beckoning Whispers encounter of the Obsidian Acropolis, where they drop the Taken Essence necessary to do the mechanics of the event.

Gameplay

These Taken Wizards will appear after enough Taken have been eliminated in the encounter and will maneuver around to harass Guardians with bolts of Darkness Blasts and can slow their opponents with a damaging Cloud of Darkness. Upon eliminating the Wizards, the Guardians may collect their Taken Essence to be used against their allies and garner the points needed to progress the encounter.

Trivia

• Despite being Taken units and bearing a blighted design the rest of their kind have, the Attendant of Whispers bears the same moveset as a standard Wizard.
