Destinypedia is an online open-content collaborative encyclopedia, that is, a voluntary association of individuals and groups working to develop a common resource of knowledge. The structure of the project allows anyone with an Internet connection to alter its content. Please be advised that nothing found here has necessarily been reviewed by people with the expertise required to provide you with complete, accurate, or reliable information.

However, Destinypedia cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here. The content of any given article may have recently been changed, vandalized, or altered by someone whose opinion does not correspond with the state of knowledge in the relevant area. Note that most other encyclopedias and reference works also have similar disclaimers.

All information found on Destinypedia is public, including anything you add to an article or on a user page about yourself. In essence, you are publishing all information that you add when posting to the site.

Destinypedia does not require the collection of personal information from its users. Providing Destinypedia with your real name and/or email address is optional. If you post personally-identifiable information (e.g. name, location, birthday) and you wish to have it removed, Destinypedia will work with you to remove it.

Destinypedia contains spoilers

Main article: Destinypedia:Spoiler policy

Destinypedia maintains the policy of documenting all information about the Destiny universe in an "omniscient" point of view. Though there is a "spoiler" warning for content of material that has not yet been released, it is by no means used every time spoilers are present. When using Destinypedia, you will find that every article contains as complete and thorough information as is possible. If you do not wish to have the details of any Destiny storyline spoiled for you, it would be best if you did not use Destinypedia until you have finished playing or reading through the storyline.

Destinypedia is not censored

Destinypedia is a wiki about the Destiny universe, including the upcoming Destiny games, which are expected to be rated "T" by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. This means that Destinypedia's content is intended for audiences aged 13 and older. The content of Destinypedia's articles and images are therefore also intended for audiences 13 and older. Since the website does not censor information, it is best to use discretion when viewing Destinypedia's content.
