Doctor Zarin Shirazi was a scientist who worked on nanotechnology projects for Clovis Bray at their research facilities on Mars. After a experiment on nanotech designed to enhance Human capabilities resulted in the death of a test subject, Shirazi turned on the company and attempted to stop its unethical experiments.
