The Veil is an object affiliated with Traveler. Its existence was revealed to the Guardian by Rasputin in his final message, stating it resided on the Neptunian City and that it was of immense paracausal power.

Overview

The Veil is a plant like relic of The Traveler with a symmetrical geometric luminescent top, bulbous body, long plant like tendril roots that can rapidly grow and generate a indestructible dome, and a large, brightly glowing white hole on its bottom. It is held deep underground within a secure Ishtar Collective building on the edge of Neomuna on Neptune acting as the main power source for the entirety of the city. It was used by The Witness that was manipulating Ghost to allow itself to open a portal on The Traveler.
