Origins of the Darkness

How do we know for certain if the Darkness originated from the Black Garden? The Darkness has even been with the Worm Gods on Fundament. It's still unclear for certainty where the darkness even originated from in the first place. Triangle Ships

Again, we don't know for certain where the Darkness originated from so those Triangle ships could be anything until more information in the future shows up. -- Titan66 (talk) 23:41, 09 September 2017 (EDT)

They responded to the activation of the Light and turned toward it, but beyond that you're right. However they were concept from the beginning of a fifth race, showing those same pyramid ships as a concept for the Taken, so all evidence points to them being what we call the Darkness. --

Definitely a race of aliens

I'm kind of objecting to saying flat out that the Darkness is definitely an alien race. We actually don't know that for a fact. I have little doubt that the things shown in the stinger of Destiny 2 is supposed to be the Darkness, but we don't know yet what they were. They might not even be ships. Also, when the Darkness spoke to Oryx in the Books of Sorrow, it referred to itself as "I", not we, so the Darkness appears to be a single individual, not a race. I feel it's too early to say flat out that the Darkness is a race of aliens instead of a single individual. -- SFH (talk) 12:39, 10 September 2017 (EDT)

-Hello im editing this so yay i believe the triangular ships have something to do with the nine or the traveler because we saw 3 of the ships and 3 x 3 = 9 or nine and a triangle is the opposite of a circle and the traveler takes the shape of a circle and i also believe that they have a opposing army to guardians maybe even guardians drawing power from the darkness but it never says that "''travelers ancient enemy''" died or anything so they never made any dark ghosts to revive dark guardians so maybe even the stranger is one of them because the players ghost didn't detect any light and the stranger is a assistant of osiris who might of drawer power from the darkness because it was exiled and his light was taken from him so maybe he found a way to draw power from darkness also teaching the stranger how to draw power from the darkness sending her into the past forming a group of dark wielders or ''"the travelers ancient enemy''" in so creating a time loop then sends her to find you the player as a recruitment because she probably saw you the player kill Orxy or something else seeing you the player as a great and powerful guardian that can be used for the darkness so in the future bringing you to Osiris also wait scratch that thing about Orxy i think that the cabal try blowing up the sun as in destiny 2 destroying mercury which could possible be the home for dark guardians which is why future and past vex go their in the expansion pack of destiny 2 because of its darkness and maybe mercury can also time travel and stuff and Osiris picked up the usage of darkness and time traveling from them and that the stranger wasn't trying to get you to destroy the black guardian maybe she was trying to get you the mars instead which is the first place you see the cabal so you can go to war with them and then they will invade the city and without acknowledging avenging osiris by killing the speaker who exiled osiris but back to the topic so in the future osiris with the stranger and brother vance and maybe variks because in egyptian mythology osiris judges people at hall of judgement which i think house judgement if referring to that and maybe even erie morn because it even said on this website osiris came in contact with erie so maybe when she was in the tunnels she was recruited by the stranger and brought to osiris teaching her how to use the darkness and in the process transforming her in a dark wielder then sender her back to the tower to recruit a guardian to kill crota as a test in the process starting the taken war which osiris prophecied something about Oryx maybe because all his past present and future selves stayed in contact through the stranger and variks also tested you in CHALLENGE of elders to see the best guardians narrowing the list of potentials threats or even dark wielders and one day osiris will return with a army a dark wielders with the triangular ships killing the traveler when it wakes and recruit as much guardians as they can in order to gain power for a unknown cause of elimination of the light and recruitment for dark wielders and also most of destiny is based of egyptian religion because when you thing of egypt you think of pyramids which were used to hold the body of the dead for reincarnation so my other theory is that osiris is reviving people in a dark image for sinister purposes and maybe even controlling space time and with the vex technology maybe even dimensions with dimensions they can slay oryx to gain the taken knowledge for taken giving the darkness the strongest force and they will reign forever but since its Osiris who is looking for knowledge will find knowledge about darkness in other worlds times and dimensions and even gain knowledge about the ascended realm which he would need for true knowledge of the darkness and destruction of our dimension time and space in needed for that. {{unsigned|68.10.207.92}}
