Nightmare War Beasts are Nightmares that appear throught the Sol System.
Gameplay[edit]
Nightmare War Beasts appear in activities featuring Nightmares and Cabal. They often manifest in pairs, in support of more powerful Nightmares, like the Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul[1][2] or the powerful Nightmares that hide in the Haunted Alcoves of the Derelict Leviathan[3]. They also frequently appear in Lost Sectors as guards for the final boss[4]. While they can be dangerous if ignored, defeating them rewards the players with Unstable Essence they can use to increase the damage they deal to other Nightmares.
