In the distant past, the [[Hive]] god Auryx sought to obtain the power to Take in order to help him defeat the [[Ecumene]]. He killed his [[Xivu Arath|two]] [[Savathûn|sisters]] to gain an audience with [[Akka]], the [[Worm]] god of Secrets, whom he then slew in turn.
