Introduced during ''[[Season of Arrivals]]'' and returning in ''[[Season of the Chosen]]'' and every subsequent season for ''Destiny 2'', Umbral Engrams are a less common variant of Legendary Engram which ~~must be decoded at the [[Umbral Decoder]] in the [[H.E.L.M.]]. Their special feature is that the [[Prismatic Recaster]]~~ can be ~~used to~~ "~~focus~~" ~~them~~ into dropping a more specific ~~kind~~ of loot, such as ~~only~~ weapons, or, ~~with an~~ additional investment and appropriate [[Triumphs|Triumph]] unlocks, ~~seasonal armor with~~ a ~~higher selected stat~~.
