==Gameplay==
More commonly seen as a Shadow Legion [[Centurion]], a Redolence of Decay is found during the [[Scission]] encounter of the Root of Nightmares Raid. These units are immune to all means of attack, unless their opponent has the ''Flux of Darkness'' buff, making them a particularly troublesome enemy for their [[Guardian]] opponents. While Redolences of Decay are more commonly a Centurion, especially the boss units that appear at the end of every floor, they can also appear as other red-bar minors once both Nodes of Splendor and Decay are fully linked, with a squad of Legionaries and Psions at the end of Floor 1, Gladiators at the end of Floor 2 and Incendiors at the end of Floor 3, the former-most of which disables the lifts to the upper floors and the final-most barring the exit to Scission.
