Asteri[edit]

File 1[edit]

The name of the Speaker before she took her current post.

Asteri was born on an island in the southern Aegean Sea. At that time, the waters and islands belonged to Rita-4, a Warlord who, like others of her ilk, was cruel, ruthless, and set in her ways. Despite the Warlord's tyrannical rule, Asteri, a mortal child growing up on the seaside, found joy even in hardship. She had a family that, despite living in poverty, was still filled with love, as well as a somewhat unusual group of friends—Ghosts who had yet to find their Lightbearers.

It was only when the Iron Lord Efrideet came to that distant island that Asteri learned that she was no ordinary girl. She was a Speaker.

File 2[edit]

The name of the Speaker before she took her current post.

In accordance with the Iron Lords' creed, Efrideet challenged Rita-4 to a duel, with the village as their wager. After a hard-fought victory, Efrideet approached Asteri and her family and declared that she would take them to a new and better home. However, on the night the residents were packing to leave, Rita-4 set fire to the village. In her eyes, the existence of anything that didn't belong to her was meaningless.

Efrideet only had time to save a few of the villagers and Asteri, whose parents had perished in the blaze.
