Interamnia

Interamnia is the capital city of the Reef and primary residential city of the Awoken people. The city was home to thriving merchants, who were once cheated by the Ahamkara Azirim,[1] along with forges which crafted blades for the Awoken military, including one produced for Petra Venj upon her ascension to Queen's Wrath.[2]
Under an edict known as queenslaw ("queen's law") it was forbidden for non-Awoken to set foot anywhere upon the Reef and for Reefborn Awoken to invite in outsiders without leave of the Queen; Namqi Sen, a Reefborn Awoken, was punished with indentured servitude while Orin was judged differently, held to future debt;[3] centuries later, when The Guardian trespassed, they were redirected to the Vestian Outpost and ordered to retrieve a Vex Gate Lord's head by way of penance.[4]
