Jinsef was one of many Dread created by [[the Witness]] using stolen [[Light]] from the [[Traveler]]. Being an Evocator, she would be given a Prism made of [[Pyramid]] Technology, a [[Forum:Discordant Refraction|Discordant Refraction]]. Jinsef noted that it felt familiar to wield, like it had been imprinted into her bones, but she couldn't know why.

Following the Witness's death, Jinsef would be left directionless and would wander the system. Eventually, she would fall in with the party of Dread led by [[Kerrev, the Erased]] and join them in their descent into the [[The Sunken Pyramid|Sunken Pyramd]]. There, Jinsef would study the [[Hive]] that had remained within the [[Pyramid]] and work with the [[Preceptor]]s to oversee the [[Zoetic Lockset]]. During this time, she would speak with one of these Preceptors, '''Ir Kithana''', of how they both came to be. 

At some point during the expedition, Jinsef would uncover a mysterious power from deep in the Pyramid. After fleeing the Pyramid when a [[Guardian]] fireteam [[Sundered Doctrine|assaulted]] the Pyramid, Jinsef would continue to study this power and become adept in it. She would begin to cultivate a following of like-minded Dread who sought  grow strong away from the influence of the [[Lord of Every Nothing]], eventually forming the coven/syndicate known as the [[Forum:Replanted Circle|Replanted Circle]].

Following the destruction of [[Nightfall Station]], Jinsef and her coven would move into [[Tharsis Junction|Tharsis Outpost]], intent on growing in strength through the [[Lawless Frontier]] but facing opposition from the [[Pikers|oth]][[Tharsis Reformation|er]] [[Totality Division|Syndi]][[Forum:Shadow's Dawn (Syndicate)|cates]]. When relics of the Circle were stolen by the Totality Division, Jinsef would request aid from [[The Guardian]] to retrieve them.
