'''Invasions''' are a feature introduced alongside the [[Forum:Neon Wraiths (reworked)|Neon Wraith]] [[Forum:Manhunt|Manhunts]] and serve as difficult yet rewarding activities. These activities are renditions of [[Raid]]s, [[Strike]]s, [[Story|Mission]]s, [[Lost Sector]]s and [[Patrol]]s with a factional twist on them and usually go along with the story of the current Season.

==Overview==
Invasions are a means of refreshing existing content and ensuring the use of existing assets. Invasions occur on a week-by-week basis and change from planet to planet and will always feature a new faction every time an invasion takes place. Invaded Missions, Lost Sectors and Strikes all are slightly more difficult than their other activities, all of them capping players 5 under the presumed difficulty. These activities also feature Legend/Master and Legendary difficulties, depending on the activity, which all offer greater rewards on completion. Much like in the Taken King, enemy factions may also invade a public space, where lieutenants can be killed to summon a boss that can drop enhancement cores and even exotics and even patrols can be done to enter private arenas to drive off an occupation and eliminate a commander if fast enough.
