==Biography==
Little is known about her beyond legends of her own creation. As the spokesman and envoy of the Scorn, she was often the first to strike. Utilizing cloaking technology and leaving traps for unsuspecting enemies, Araskes had little skill in all-out battle beyond her ability to avoid it.<ref name=GIBarons/>

She was captured later alongside the other Scorn Barons and imprisoned within the [[Prison of Elders]]. Later she was resurrected by Fikrul, who now wielded the [[Echo of Riis]]. Alongside the [[Revenant Scorn]], she ambushed the Guardian as they attempted to invaded the [[Revenant Fortress]]. She ultimately fled, and would occasionally assist her fellow Barons as they fought the Guardian. When returning to the Prison of Elders, The Guardian team sent there failed to realize that the [[Warden|Warden Servitor]] was tampered by the Trickster herself.

==Personality==

Araskes has demonstrated herself to be quite sadistic, as she seems to take perverse joy in duping the Guardian and cackling insanely whenever they fall for one of her traps. She also seems to be quite unhinged, frequently laughing in her dialogue, speaking in a maniacal, almost sing-song voice, and calling herself pronouns such as "our" or "we" rather than "me" or "I". She also seems to be quite overconfident, as she lured the Guardian directly into her lair in the hopes that the Guardian would fall at the hands of another trap, which ultimately led to her death.<ref name="Target"/>

Her greatest weapon is the dissolution of truth, she gives people certainty, only to reshuffle the deck, and she grants us desire only to come to regret it. She is described as the "first among devils to gods", where she is unknowable, unpure and her tongue would cut down anyone before their body fell, makes you question your own actions and the depths of her deceit, whether or not we really killed the Trickster or if her trap is set.<ref name="RiL/>

==Gameplay==
===Target: The Trickster===
True to her nature, Araskes engages in little direct combat, preferring to use her smoke dash ability to escape trouble. She will also deploy [[Web Mine]]s disguised as loot as well as bombs made to resemble [[Exotic]] [[Engram]]s, both as a means to distract and trick [[Guardian]]s as she is chased down. When cornered, she will chip away at [[The Guardian]]'s health from a distance with her [[Scorn Rifle]], stomp the ground when faced at close range, teleport to evade or flank her opponent and call for aid from lesser Scorn units. Due to her tendency to slip away from an engagement, it is best to keep watch of her by following her smoke trails. Once spotted again, one must keep the attack on her so as to not let her escape.

===Kell's Fall===
Araskes, the Trickster will appear at the Gatehouse of the [[Revenant Fortress]] where she will serve as the first encounter of [[Kell's Fall]]. She will fire at the Guardian with her rifle, teleport to evade attacks, summon Scorn reinforcements, and deploy counterfeit Heavy ammo bricks that will unleash a Scorn mine. Once Araskes losses approximately one third of her health she will teleport away from the Gatehouse and the Guardian will be able to enter the door leading to the Bailey area.

Later, Araskes will reappear either during the encounter against [[Kaniks, the Mad Bomber]], or [[Hiraks, the Mindbender]] within the [[Revenant Plane]] when he has lost two thirds of his health where she will support her fellow Baron and withdraw from the confrontation when they are defeated.

Subsequently after defeating Hiraks and departing from the Revenant Plane, the Guardian will travel to an area with a staircase leading to Fikrul's Throne Room where they will confront Araskes once more. Throughout the encounter, Araskes will travel further up the stairs upon losing additional health until she reaches the top floor and will be aided by [[Grim]] providing aerial support. Once Araskes is slain the door leading to the Throne Room will open and permit the Guardian to begin the final encounter of the Exotic Mission.
