There should be military ranks among the Ascendant Hive, like at least make the Warpriest a general or admiral while Ecthar, Sword of Oryx a lieutenant -- Titan66 (talk) 20:19, 02 November 2016 (EDT)

Military ranks among the Hive are irrelevant. Their rank is based on how much they have killed and how much Light they've tithed to Oryx. Those titles appended to their names (e.g. Sword of Oryx) indicates they were named such because of their battle prowess. Essentially, Ascendant Hive *are* generals, Princes as it were, leading their own broods. Well, technically, they could. But those that don't lead broods lead Oryx's hordes to battle. --Dante the Ghost (talk) 20:41, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
