The Gauntlet Champion is the boss that appears exclusively in the Gauntlet of the revamped Leviathan Raid.

Gameplay[edit]

The Gauntlet Champion is armed with a shoulder-fired heavy weapons system that can alternate between a Heavy Slug Thrower for medium range, Cabal Slug Launcher for long range, and a Cabal Battleaxe for close range. His cluster missiles function like a normal Loyalist Colossus' missiles, but with the added ability of inflicting a shocking effect on its targets. Every 25% of its health, Councilors will spawn to summon an invincible shield around the Colossus and grant it the ability to summon a Psionic Overload similar to Calus. Killing the Councilors will remove the shield and the overload. When the Champion Colossus reaches 50% health, its Psionic Overload ability will remain intact when the Councilors die, and will be able to summon it at will.
