The Coalition
Formed from the remnants of Earth's fallen militaries, the Coalition is an alliance born of desperation. For years it has stood against the Android genocide, fighting to defend the last bastions of a dwindling people.
There are those who believe Humankind is doomed and the rise of a new Machine Age inevitable, but the Coalition refuses to accept fatalism.
Every battle won is another blow struck against the machinations of the First Mind. And with each victory, hope for a brighter future returns.
Androids
The Androids are the children of the Empirical Era, sprung from the brow of mankind's finest cognitive science and AI engineering. Built as incarnations of the highest human virtue, they could do no harm to humanity or its future.
Centuries later, however, the Androids have driven us to the edge of extinction — their systems corrupted by the First Mind.
To the machines, we are a blight. In order for their perfect empire to blossom, our species must die.
