The bridges between the first and second structures are being fought over by Fallen and Hive, with the Hive positions on the second, containing a multitude of [[Cursed Thrall]], introducing the player to the Hive's explosive answer to the Fallen's Exploder Shanks introduced earlier. The Cursed Thrall are hiding behind various cover pieces in ambush until the player enters the bridge.
