"And my vanquisher will read that book, seeking the weapon, and they will come to understand me, where I have been and where I was going."

Step 1[edit]

You've agreed to help Eido with tonic experimentation by completing major fieldwork in the EDZ. Head there to begin.

  • Help Eido conduct major fieldwork in the EDZ.
    • EDZ fieldwork completed

  • Eido: Thank you for completing the final experiment, Guardian. We've exhausted every known reagent. And I don't believe a cure for my father is in our reach—
  • Mithrax: Slayer Baron. I won't ask you to suffer this, but I must speak candidly with my daughter. I'm sure there are troubles to attend across the system.
  • Eido: I have other matters, as well—
  • Mithrax: Stay. Please. I cannot blame you but — you have been elusive.
  • Eido: It's been difficult to face… I've failed. Whatever is happening to you… will progress.
  • Mithrax: No… No, there is no failure here. And I despise subjecting you… to what I've become. But there are things I must say. I am sorry… I am sorry. I am a sorry excuse for a Kell. A miser. But no more! When Fikrul burns away, a new age for Eliksni begins. Led by a first and final Kell of Kells: a new Misraaks!
  • Eido: Never.
  • Mithrax: You would be HELPLESS to stop me!
  • Eido: Our people always find a way. Even at the highest cost.
  • Mithrax: False bravery. From a daughter of misers.
  • Eido: I'm sorry, I couldn't face you. I was afraid my memories of you would be replaced. By this. Never again.
  • Mithrax: I… I'm sorry. I… I am sorry for the obligations I've put on you. That I chose to be a leader more than a father.
  • Eido: You always gave me that same freedom to choose.
  • Mithrax: As ever, daughter, you walk this hardship-path with grace. I see you, and my heart surges.
  • Eido: I love you, too.

Step 2[edit]
