The Other Regions' Residents section of M.I.N.D. features entries related to residents of various regions.

Mara Sov[edit]

Queen of the Reef's Awoken, and an enchanting ruler and politicaian.

Mara Sov was one of the first of the Awoken. Following several coups, the wise, callous, and farsighted Mara took the throne, which she still maintains to this day.

The Awoken had originally stayed within the Distributary, but under Mara's leadership, the Awoken, still caring for the fate of their kin, returned to Sol. They have not yet made direct contact with the survivors on Earth; rather, they evaluate Sol's current situation from their hidden enclave in the Reef.

Felwinter[edit]

The Iron Lord of Felwinter Peak and technical genius of the Dark Age.

During the Collapse, an Exo was revived by a Ghost and was given the name "Felwinter." He climbed to an observatory on a mountaintop and defeated the region's ruling Warlord, claiming the territory for himself and dubbing it "Felwinter Peak." After meeting Timur, Felwinter found himself moved by his ideals and joined him under the Iron Banner.

Felwinter doesn't seem as "fit to hold office" as his fellow Iron Lords, instead spending most of his time holed up in his lab, fully concentrated on his research. He rarely concerns himself with Iron Lord affairs, and some of his colleagues have taken issue with his excessively cold ways of handling things.

Osiris[edit]

A legendary Lightbearer renowned for his erudition.

People the world over tell tales of this Lightbearer. They speak of a sharp mind rivaled only by his immense power, and of the numerous books he's written on the Light. His keen farsightedness makes him something of a sage in the eyes of many, but his temperament and attitude tend to draw their ire.

Kyle[edit]

The former right-hand man of Walter, the Warlord ruler of Wales. He now goes by "Balder."

Kyle and his fellow Lightbearers Manfred and Jeffrey previously served Walter. As his deputies, they were responsible for punishing disobedient prisoners. Kyle was a reverent, obsequious presence at Walter's side, offering advice and suggestions for torturing prisoners, but never displaying his own use of the Light. It was through his cunning and caution that Kyle survived Gwynn's slaughter at Beaumaris Castle.

Having avoided a final death, Kyle fled to London, but the Fallen's invasion soon followed. He managed to hide from the alien pursuers in London's underground tunnels, but the assault left his Ghost badly damaged. Realizing his own weakness, Kyle sought help from mortals. He gathered a group of survivors and led them to escape the British Isles, after which they began a lengthy journey…
