The '''Vanishing Claw''' is a group of [[Fallen]] spies, operatives, and saboteurs belonging to the [[Forum:House of Lions|House of Lions]]. They operate throughout the [[Sol System]] within hidden dens and outposts to monitor and assess potential threats or allies for the Lions. 

==Overview==
The Vanishing Claw were formed at the height of the golden age on [[Riis]], serving as a network of spies and scouts controlled by the Kell of Lions. Originally, they were led by [[Forum:Skevsis, the Prowling|Skevsis, the Prowling]], who orchestrated the events of the [[Forum:Gray Wars|Gray Wars]] and the death of [[Forum:Yorvik, Kell of Lions|Yorvik, Kell of Lions]] in his bid to become the next Lion Kell. After he was slain by [[User:Joskaa|Joskaa]] who liberated the House of Lions from Skevsis's oppression and succeeded him as the Kell of Lions, he would make [[Forum:Devris, the Silent Squall|Devris, the Silent Squall]], a renown Vanishing Claw, the leader of the group. Unbeknownst to him, Devris still harbored loyalty to the late Skevsis and plotted against the young Kell alongside [[Forum:Delkris|Delkris]]. Once the plot was finally discovered, Joskaa would dock Devris and in-prison her in a Cryo-Pod alongside the contributors and would give the leadership to [[Forum:Grayvis|Grayvis]], who was also his mate. Grayvis would go on to lead the Vanishing Claw without question and set up numerous outposts once the Lions reached the [[Sol System]] and secretly held communications with [[Draksis, Winter Kell]] and the [[House of Winter]]. The Vanishing Claw would become instrumental in establishing a mutual alliance with the [[Awoken]] and the [[Forum:Siege on Mars|Siege on Mars]] in which one of their outposts was discovered and attacked by the [[Cabal]] [[Forum:Star Blazers|Star Blazers]], leading to a alliance between the Lions and the [[Last City]] to combat the Cabal. The Vanishing Claw assisted the Guardians throughout the event and even helped discover the location of the Star Blazers' commander, [[Forum:Val Jo'arrc|Val Jo'arrc]] and his command ship, [[Forum:Kenvage Col V|Kenvage Col V]]. The Vanishing Claw also helped in fighting the [[Forum:House of Storm|House of Storm]] led by their [[Archon]], [[Forum:Tikmiks, Archon Priest|Tikmiks]], son of their former leader Skevsis.

Vanishing Claw members consists primarily of [[Stealth Vandal]]s and wield either [[Wire Rifle]]s or dual [[Shock Blade]]s and might be seen alongside other Lions in missions within the [[Forum:Rubicon Outskirts|Rubicon Outskirts]]. Notably three Vanishing Claw members were captured during the [[Forum:Siege on Mars|Siege on Mars]] by the Star Blazers within [[Forum:Charlemagne's Hold|Charlemagne's Hold]] along with several Lions, but were saved thanks to the [[Guardian]]s under the orders of [[Forum:AJ, the Relentless|AJ, the Relentless]]. Later, the Vanishing Claw was expanded to include [[Marauder]]s, [[Tracer Shank]]s, and [[Heavy Shank]]s. The Vanishing Claw also utilized [[Spy Servitor]]s in their espionage and intelligence reports.
