''Nulaks, the Trophy Hunter'' is a [[Fallen]] [[Captain]] stranded on the [[Hive]] war vessel known as the [[Forum:Navigator's Rest|Navigator's Rest]] after a raiding mission went awry and she was left as the last survivor. Now she stalks the depths of the ship in pursuit of worthy foes to steal from and/or collect trophies from their bodies to further her chances at survival.

==Overview==

Born to the [[House of Devils]] shortly after the destruction of [[Sepiks Prime]], Nulaks's entire early life was that of suffering. She even states that one of her brothers even had to break his own arm off just so he could leak enough [[Ether]] to Nulaks so she could live. She'd be the only member of her family to survive the unification of [[House]]s into the [[House of Dusk]] and the [[Red War]], with her last remaining sister being killed alongside [[Serkuleks, the Fount]] at the hands of [[The Guardian]].

Once she got the chance, Nulaks would immediately flee to the forming [[House of Salvation]] under [[Eramis, Kell of Darkness]]'s watch. However, once the [[Vex]] [[Transfer Gate|Gate]] was opened on [[Europa]] and the Dark Council began to fall, Nulaks would once again flee into the service of an Old Crew ran by a prosperous Captain named Porsidiks, the Avaricious. However, as if it was destiny for Nulaks to never know comfort, Porsidiks would be corrupted by [[Xivu Arath, God of War]] and transformed into a [[Wrathborn]] along with much of his crew. Nulaks and what few remains who weren't corrupted would flee into just a few [[Skiff]]s, leaving the [[Ketch]] to detonate and the mutating crew put out of their misery. Nulaks would spend years within these Skiffs, hoping from planetoid to planetoid, scavenging and recruiting whatever and whoever they could find.

Many years later, starving and hoping to find anything of use, Nulaks's crew would discretely board a massive [[Hive]] frigate that just recently entered the [[Sol System]]. Quickly this would go awry and her entire crew would be massacred. After coming out of hiding, Nulaks would take all that she could from her fallen brethren, including their Ether. This massive intake of enough Ether to compose several dozen Fallen all into just one frail [[Vandal]] would cause Nulaks to swell in height to that of an [[Archon]], exchanging her sneakiest hiding spots for a more intimidating visage and a stronger form. She'd also scavenge the tech to transform matter into Ether from one of their [[Servitor]]s and infuse it into an experimental [[Boomer]] known as a Fang. This modified Fang would not only work as a potent weapon, but any damage she caused to another living creature would be transformed into Ether that'd then be sucked into her body for sustenance. She'd use this tech to begin surviving and scavenging within the [[Forum:Navigator's Rest|Navigator's Rest]] in hopes of someday finding a way off of it. However once war broke out between the [[Forum:Spite of the King|Spite of the King]] and [[The Coalition]], she'd learn that the [[The Guardian|Guardian]] that murdered her sister and Serkuleks was actively fighting this war and regularly raiding the Navigator's Rest. She'd steel herself that while she knew she couldn't kill them, she'd do anything in her power to take everything from them that they worked so hard for.

Around this time she'd also begin to see visions of her dead crewmates. Thinking it was just herself going mad, she ignored them. That was until they began fighting for her and she could subconsciously call them to her no matter how many times they died. She'd remember the tales of [[Mithrax, Kell of Light|Mithrax, the Butcher]]-now supposed Kell of Light and how he confronted the dead spirits of his past viciousness many years ago. They were known as [[Nightmares]]. How Nulaks could control them wasn't of any concern to her in this predicament, however. She just knew with the Nightmares of her crew by her side, she may just be able to damage The Guardian's morale.

Nulaks is covered in [[Hive]] chitin she tore from successful kills. Specifically her helmet taken from a powerful rising [[Prince]] she hunted, and the ever hungering [[Thrall]] claw she uses as an improvised knife. She's also extremely resourceful and can make use out of nearly anything she can get her hands on.

==An Outstretched Arm==

After [[Forum:Kharyx, the Navigator's Lullaby|Kharyx, the Navigator's Lullaby]]'s defeat and the securing of the Navigator's Rest's beachhead, [[Shiro-4]] would extend an invitation to Nulaks to join [[The Coalition]]. Nulaks would reject this offer, refusing to side with her sister's killer and the people who helped make her into what she is now. Shiro-4 hopes someday she will accept and understand not everyone is out to get her. Along with being concerned of reports of a strange menacing laugh echoing around Nulaks whenever she summons her Nightmare crew.

==Gameplay==

Nulaks can appear at any time while you're patrolling the Navigator's Rest and begin an encounter. While she fights mostly like a normal [[Ultra]] Captain, she's far more mobile and can even use the ground dash that is normally limited to just [[Vandal]]s. Along with this, due to her new weapon, Nulaks fires a concentrated beam of [[Strand]] that causes unraveling if enough damage is dealt with it. She also can throw various items via her Tricky Parcel ability. These can include, a [[Cursed Thrall]] head that explodes on impact, a [[Web Mine]], [[Trip Mine]], [[Shock Grenade]], a colony of [[Wormspore]] that leaves a damaging spore cloud, a Hive helmet that automatically breaks your shield/overshield regardless of durability if it hits, a rock that causes an effect similar to a [[Grim]]'s tinnitus effect, and more. Upon spawning and losing each sixth of her health bar, Nulaks will summon Nightmare Fallen to assist her in battle.

Once she's reduced to low enough health, the message ''"Nulaks retreats to lick her wounds"'' appears and she despawns, leaving loot behind.
