Hekios, Watcher of the Witness is the opening encounter of Singularity’s Horizon. A Taken Hydra tasked with overseeing the Black Hole Generator’s launch protocols, Hekios enforces the Witness’s will through temporal weaponry, rotating defenses, and unrelenting time pressure. At the start of the encounter, Hekios is initially immune, protected by rotating shields linked to the arena’s obelisks. The encounter is governed by Singularity Launch Imminent, a system-wide countdown toward the activation of the Black Hole Generator. Hekios wields a Solar Taken Aeon Maul and an Arc Chronology Rifle, enabling it to threaten combatants at all ranges.
