Talk:Almighty

Almighty explorable?

I kind of wish that you could patrol the almighty, like with the dreadnaught, because it could have some really cool features. Jgamer118 (talk) 08:41, 26 October 2017 (EDT)

Almighty Size

Hello, so I would like to talk about the size of the Almighty and saying that it rivals the Dreadnaught, with calcs, the Dreadnaught is around the size of earth's moon, but after looking at the post credit scene comparing the Almighty to Mercury, it should be relatively smaller, right?--CNBA3 (talk) 15:46, 13 February 2018 (EST)

The Almighty’s Destruction: Your Opinion

Alright, now that the Almighty has been destroyed, I want your guys’ opinions on the “live event” that was presented to us. Because, to me, as an absolute lore fanatic, the entire event was steaming garbage. For those who don’t know, the Almighty has a wingspan of at least 3,000 kilometers; the size of Mercury. That means, if the Almighty had made contact with the Earth, it would wipe out everything, and possibly shatter the planet.

But, as I came to realize, Rasputin only launched two sets of the Seraph Satellites; he never launched the third set. Meaning, that only 6 million Satellites were used to destroy a 3,000 kilometer long ship. That aside, somehow, the missiles only destroyed the center mass of the Almighty, not the wings. That aforementioned piece was still absolutely gigantic, and impacted into a mountain range. The result? A flash of blinding light, a shockwave, and a forest fire. Had the actual size of that piece been used, it would’ve caused an extinction level that would’ve killed everything on the planet. But, that didn’t happen, as Bungie completely disregarded the size of their sun-destroying super-weapon, for a glorified light show.

My ranting aside, what do you guys think of this event? Many people enjoyed it, by I absolutely hated it. There was nothing that could’ve redeemed this.

Feel free to comment. If not, that’s fine. I’m just venting my frustration. Akarasis, Archon of Stone (talk) 00:48, June 7, 2020 (EDT)
