The needle, as it was called by Aurash, Xi Ro and Sathona, was an ancient and technologically advanced spacecraft of unknown origin that crashed into the gas giant planet Fundament billions of years ago. It was lost within the Shvubi Maelstrom long before the Krill arrived on the planet, but was retrieved by the daughters of the Osmium King after they escaped the sacking of their homeland by the Helium Drinkers.[1]
