Some time after the events of the [[Forum:Season of Fire|Season of Fire]], Kirito and Asuna rose to power, with their army of [[Forum:Shadowkeepers (Paradox)|Shadowkeepers]] and the [[Pyramids]] leading an assault that killed people such as Maleficent, Benjamin Florian, [[Zavala]], and [[Emperor Calus]] and led to an era created by the [[Darkness]]. Enraged by those malicious acts of terror enacted by Kirito and Asuna, the Iriksi Syndicate formed an alliance with the [[Forum:House of Lions|House of Lions]] and remnants of the factions that were attacked by the Shadowkeepers.
